Adobe Dreamweaver 2020 keeps hanging

For the last week, every time I attempt to use Adobe Dreamweaver, the software freezes or hangs while using it.  SOmetimes it will also go into program not responding mode.  It takes hours to complete a task that used to take only a few minutes.  I am using Dreamweaver 2020.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    In addition to re-installing if you are running into issues, you could try updating to the 2021 version to see if that resolves your issue.

    Try restoring preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver.html

     

    If that doesn't help, you may want to run the CC Cleaner Tool and reinstall the program: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
