Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017 has stopped working

Hi,

I keep getting the same message everytime I open up Dreamweaver. I've followed many instructions on Youtube and other forums; however, I can't seem to locate the Win Cache file in the >Users > (My Name) > AppData > Adobe > Roaming > Dreamweaver CC 2017 > en_US > Configuration

I've checked the hidden items and file extensions in the view menu, but can't see the cache file. Could it be hidden another folder?

Please help or I might be forced to ask for my money back!

Please open your Windows Event Viewer and look for the faulting module.  It's very possible you have a missing or corrupted DLL file on your system that's causing DW to crash.

Lavasoft's Web Companion plugin is a known conflict with Adobe products.

If the faulting module is "LavasoftTcpService64.dll" (or something similar) then Lavasoft is the culprit.

Unistalling LavaSoft and all related DLL files fixes the problem.

Hi Nancy,

Thank you, it was driving me mad. I uninstalled Lavasoft Web Companion and all is fine.
