Question

Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 fix Renew your subscription

I had Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 (non cloud subscription version) and then I saw a good deal for Creative Cloud for a year and tried it but didn't do anything to Dreamweaver as far as upgrading (as far I I am aware of). I recently have since dropped all cloud services except Premiere Pro plan. When I now try to open my Dreamweaver CS6 app I get the 'Renew your subscription' message when this is an older version of Dreamweaver that didn't need a subscription. How do I get it to by pass this message?

Thanks for any info.

    Hi @4loopdev,

    "I recently dropped all cloud services ..."

    =============

    That's a shame.  Use the Adobe Cleaner tool to wipe old CC apps from your system.  And then reinstall Creative Suite 6 from your original disks or downloads.  When prompted, enter your valid serial number.

    For best results keep legacy Creative Suite on a 2nd computer separate from Creative Cloud.  Legacy CS software is 9 years old and doesn't play nice with the latest technology in Creative Cloud.

    NOTE 1: Creative Suite installers won't work on macOS Sierra, High Sierra or Mojave without terminal workarounds. See the help article below.
    https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/install-creative-suite-mac-os-sierra.html

    NOTE 2: Creative Suite cannot run on Catalina, Big Sur or higher.

    NOTE 3:  CS software is discontinued and unsupported.  Use at your own risk.  Adobe Customer Care reps cannot help with anything CS related except an activation count reset.

    Good luck! 🙂

    Beware of fake Adobe reps who may contact you privately offering to sell you software or take control of your computer. It's a scam, run away!  Real Adobe staff will never reach out by Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo or Skype.
