I purchased Dreamweaver from CDW a software company several years ago

Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium - media (Dreamweaver).  The Adobe company is telling me its not a [genuine] copy.  What and who do I contact about this?

You didn't purchase CS5.5 from Adobe.  So your issue is with CDW, not Adobe.  If CDW is still in business, contact the vendor.

Creative Suite is no longer sold. Adobe discontinued it in 2017.

Do you mean the license was revoked or not genuine software?

That typically happens when third party software companies illegally sell seats on a volume license. Once Adobe finds the terms of volume licensing were violated, they kill the serial number.

Unfortunately, once Adobe revokes a license, you're pretty much out of luck. As far as I've ever seen, the only option they give is purchasing a Creative Cloud membership.
