I fhave been following the regualr expressions tutorial here on Adobe
https://www.adobe.com/devnet/archive/dreamweaver/articles/regular_expressions_pt1.html

However the second part linked in the footer is a 404, does anyone have a link to this that works?

Was going to contact Adobe directly but none of the contact links are working either!

Perhaps that some folks could repair the missing link, any way, if you need any tutorial online concerning Regex, this one is pretty simple, clear and effective

    https://dev.to/ziishaned/learn-regex-the-easy-way-c4g

you will find many online platform for testing editing Regex, the one linked to the previous tutorial is pretty well done https://regex101.com/

but you will find many others if you prefer different approach as

    https://regexr.com/

    https://www.regextester.com/

and so on.. hope that helps

Thanks Birnou, that's a great link and really helpful, clear and structired.

Bounced off many of the other regex tutorials, it just didn't stick, which is why I liked the David Powers one on Abobe so much but this it great.

Thanks for the response. I hadn't realised the article was so old.

Regex is confusing and this is the best tutorial I have found at clearly demystifying it.  Despite it's age it is just as relevant as the day it was posted and comes pretty high on search results for good reasons.

I appreciate the help and if it can't be retireved I'll find another tutorial online.

    Thanks again

David Powers was once a regular contributor here but not lately.   And it probably doesn't help that the tutorial is 10+ years old & archived.  I'll report it  to Adobe Staff and hopfully somebody can find the 2nd part, if it still exists.  Keep your fingers crossed.
