There are some rudimentary controls in DW for this...

1. Click the item or highlight the text in Design or Live View
2. Open the Properties Window (under Window > Properties) if it's not open
3. In the Properties Window, you will see two buttons on the left: CSS and HTML. Click CSS

4. The basic alignment options will appear on the upper right of the window as the standard Left, Center, Right and Justify icons
