Animation Activation

I have created an animation in Adobe Animate. Upon importing it into my Dreamweaver page, it automatically runs on loading. What do I have to do make it only play when selected?

    I the animation was created in JS, then you could include the functionality into the JS.

    Because your animation was created in Animate, you will need to include the functionality into the action script (JS) within Animate. See here Create HTML5 Canvas documents in Animate CC in particular the section 'Adding interactivity in HTML5 Canvas document'
