Effective July 2022, Adobe Edge Fonts will be discontinued.

Please switch over to Adobe Fonts or other suitable font replacement.

No surprise.  And neither is the end of support for Type 1 (PostScript) fonts.  This has been coming for a long time.  Edge Fonts was a small subset of TypeKit.  And TypeKit was replaced by Adobe Fonts.
