Applying DW Templates [branched from using multiple templates in one website]

I have moved this question into a new discussion for you.  The other thread was quite old and had already been answered.

We would need to see your Template code and the code in your sub-page.  Suffice it to say, the editable regions must be the same or it won't work.

In most cases, it's much easier to spawn a new child page.  And then add sub-page content into the editable regions.

What error are you seeing exactly?
What have you actually tried so far in order to attach a template to a page?
What version of Dreamweaver are you using?
