The current version of dreamweaver (and many other apps) is incompatable with my system. Are there older versions available to download on the creative cloud desktop app?

Creative Cloud assumes you have modern equipment and OS.  Until you're able to upgrade your equipment, use free apps like VS Code, Gimp, etc...

    Hi @defaultrwlzdm4mefjb ,

Thanks for writing to us. Can you please let us know the system details so that we can provide the supported Dw versions accordingly.

Also, please try setting this preference in Creative Cloud Desktop App and see if you are able to install the required Dw version on your system.

    1. Invoke Creative Cloud Desktop App and click Account button available at top-right of the Creative cloud desktop app

    2. Click on Preferences and switch to Apps section

    3. Set 'Show Older Apps' checkbox and click on Done

    4. Check for Dreamweaver version availability in 'All apps' tab of Creative Cloud Desktop App

    Regards,

    Nayan

Adobe only makes the current version, and one back, available through the CC Desktop App (a painfully stupid way to do it in my opinion).

If your system can't run the latest, you're out of luck through the app itself, however there are ways to get older versions still. A website called ProDesignTools.com works with Adobe's website to make older downloads available.

What version(s) are you looking for?

Personally I use CC 2015, which is still available here: https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2015-direct-download-links.html

You need to make sure you follow their "Very Important Instructions" (basically clicking the link to Adobe's site to set a cookie there so it knows you're a customer") or the links will give you an Access Denied error.
