Background File Activity Window 2022

How do I keep the Background File Activity Window from appearing? It is as annoying as it was for the person in 2016, and although that post is marked answered, that answer is a link that is either out of date or too broad.

Does anyone have an answer? I only work with DW locally.

Can you show us a screenshot?

I never see a background activity panel unless I'm uploading files to the server. And then only briefly.

Sorry for the delay. It is not appearing as often as it was when I posted, but still appears occasionally.

The background activity panel appears briefly while files are being uploaded to your server. That's normal and expected behavior. See screenshot to disable "Auto Upload on Save."
