When creating a new page and you compare  it with an existing page,

What is the difference between a Blue border and a ORANGE border ,

when you hi-lite the name of the  div class  / id to see it's name.

Is it something to do with not saving the file that has an  orange border, when hi-lited.

Thank you.

Hi Golfing,

Thanks for writing to us. On creating a new page, we get into edit mode of live view and the same is shown in orange border.

The orange border around the text element indicates that the mode is changed to edit mode and blue border indicates that the text element is not in edit mode.

Please refer to below KB article for more info on live view editing feature in Dw.

KB article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/dreamweaver/user-guide.html/in/dreamweaver/using/edit-in-live-view.ug.html#EdittextdirectlyinLiveView

If we do not save the file, we display a * mark next to filename just below the document toolbar.

Please let us know if you are looking for further clarity on the same.

Thanks,

Nayan
