Hi, I revised a page in Dreamweaver, connected, uploaded, but now showing blank live.

I see other posts that seem to speak of the same problem, but I don't understand the responses.

Any responses appreciated.

    Dan,

I can see your index page.

    https://econfaculty.gmu.edu/klein/index.html

    Try uploading papers.html again.

Evidently something is there because it's not throwing 404  - Page Not Found errors.

Are you working with valid HTML code?

Nancy! Suddenly it works! Don't know why it didn't yesterday or when I retried earlier today.

No idea what the hang-up was. It's been more than 24 hours since the blank-live problem started. Now it's mysteriously working. Thank you for prompting me to try again!

You uploaded files to your remote server?

Did you upload them to the correct ROOT DIRECTORY?  If unsure what that is, ask your hosting provider.

What's the URL to your site?

    Nancy,

Yes, I upload on my Mac from home to remote server (at my university).

    The now-blank page is https://econfaculty.gmu.edu/klein/papers.html

In my Dreamweaver, it says my what my root directory is, but whether that is correct, I don't know.

I called Information Technology Services at the university but didn't get the problem resolved.

    Thank you for your attention!
