Bootstrap compatibility issue

When attempting to insert a Bootstrap component in DW2017 I get a compatibility error...

Clicking the YES button gives...

It appears to have updated Bootstrap to 3.3.7 but does not insert any code. Same result whichever component I try to install.

A reset of preferences & settings seemed to solve the problem once but subsequent attempts to install components produced exactly the result outlined above.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Nancy,

The problem first occurred with a properly defined site. But, just went through your instructions to check.

No change still getting the same error message & no code inserted.

Hi Martyn,

We regret the inconvenience caused due to this issue but this is a known bug which is being prioritized.

As a workaround, you can try inserting into Live View, that shouldn't throw this message to you.

Thanks,

Try saving the file before including a component.

Exactly the same problem occurs when the file is saved. The screenshots show an unsaved file because I just did them quickly to illustrate the problem.

I was trying to create a photo gallery as described here - Ten steps to building a photo gallery website with Adobe Dreamweaver CC | Create - deleted the original files in disgust when I couldn't get it to work... later thought I'd have another try - hence this post.

Thanks for the input.

My problem is that I cannot replicate your problem.

After creating a new BS file, save it and close the file. Then reopen and try again.

As a side note, I do not have to do that to make it work.
