Question

Can I customize the "class" pull-down menu in the properties window?

I have recently had a bootstrap site written for me, and one result is that the class pull-down menu is now hundreds (maybe thousands) of items long. It doesn't respond to the scroll wheel, and the down arrow will only move it one line per click. In other words, it is now useless. Is there a way to customize it so it will only display the classes that are actually used in the current site (or page), so I can use it again to apply a class?

The Class field is populated from your document's stylesheets.  You may temporarily comment out the Bootstrap CSS file in your document's <head> tag.  But don't forget to remove the comments before you upload to server.

That would work under the right circumstances, but it doesn't really solve my current problem. The bootstrap link is in a non-editable part of a template, so I can't comment it out on a page that uses the template (most of them), though I guess I could make it an editable field. But more important, the person who does most of the work on the site needs a simple way to do this, which he could do with the pull-down menu (I can apply classes in code, but he can't; and commenting out and remembering to undo is not going to work for him ...).

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks!

Doesn't he have access to the main Template.dwt file where the stylesheet link would be editable?
