Can't cancel operation and close

DW - 21.4 latest

Activity shows complete but connection persists retrying and failing/timing out. Canceling does not stop it. Atempting to close the program warns and asks if I want to cancel 1 time. Upon yes/ok, the app stays open and will not prompt the warning again. I have to use task manager to close it.

Looks like an endless loop.

 

Try connecting to remote server with a dedicated S/FTP client like FileZilla. 

  • If it fails to connect, contact your hosting provider.
  • If it's successful, you have a means for transferring files while you troubleshoot in Dreamweaver.

Thanks for the reply. Im not sure why it happened but the bug is that I had to use task manager to close it. So far it was only in that timeframe. It happened a few times then stopped for the time being. It would be nice to click cancel and it cancels. Or close and it cancels and closes.
