Can you insert a button made in Adobe Animate?

Hey lads,

I can make really cool animated buttons in Adobe Animate, which I would like to use on my website made in Dreamweaver. Is this even possible? If so, how do I go about it? There doesn't seem to be a seamless import function in Dreamweaver and making similarly animated buttons in Dreamweaver is a huge pain in the buttocks.

Thanks!

Correct answer Nancy OShea

"Can you, or can't you import Animate files in Dreamweaver?"

Yes, you can.  But just because you can do something doesn't always mean you should.

Compare your page speed before and after inserting Animate compositions.

You could but that's like swatting flies with a sledgehammer.   Animate is total overkill for such a simple thing as buttons.  You know you can make interactive buttons with ordinary HTML and CSS code, right?  Less code = less bloat and faster loading web pages.

I know you can, but that wasn't what I asked...

Can you, or can't you import Animate files in Dreamweaver? If so, how do you do that? In the old DW you could just import the file.
