Cannot Edit Text

I have the latest version of DW and today, I tried to edit a document in Design mode but it wouldn't let me. I could highlight a word and overwrite it, I could delete a word but could type a new word. I quit and restarted DW but to no effect.

Well half an hour later it's back to normal. Go figure.

      It sounds like you're in overwrite mode.  Hit the INSERT key on your keyboard.

      I don't have an Insert key (I use a Mac)
