Cannot paste the image with hyperlink in Word Document to Dreamweaver CS6

I need to copy a word document into Dreamweaver file. There are few photos (jpg format) in the word document, all photos are well matched with a hyperlink.

I try to copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V)  those photos from Word to Dreamweaver directly. However, it isn't work. It only copy the photo instead of photo and hyperlink.

It pumps out image optimization window, asking me to choose the photo formats (jpg, png and gif ....etc). After i choose the format , it ask me to save the photo in my own drive and create a name for the photo.

Do i need to match all hyperlinks in CS6 manually by myself? Since my colleague already match all the links with photos in the word document already.

I can do that by using CS3  before. Is that CS6 can't do that?

Thanks!

I never did it..; so I can't tell if true or false, but did you try File > import > word (as you said that you was using CS6)... and if you paste, did you try Special Pasting (Ctrl|Cmd + Shift + V) and check for the full options pasted...

but any way I wont recommand to use this workflow... to place a rapid prototyping... why not... but for a more robust structure and time stability, I will recommand to use only the structured content pasted from Word, then apply a right RWD CSS.

concerning the hyperlink... usually the hyperlink should be preserved... the problem is when Word can't apply any layout based on an image, word converter, makes a bigger picture of the zone to be inserted in the document...

I just  try

1. File > import > word ,  it still can't copy the photo to Dreamweaver

2. (Ctrl|Cmd + Shift + V) , it only work when copying text. No reaction when i copy the photo.

If you are expecting the image to be imported into an HTML document, you are going to be sorely disappointed. The only way that an image can be shown in a web page is to save the image and place a link to that image. For more info, have a look at HTML Images
