Change position of element freely

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to move an element freely in Adobe Dreamweaver. For example: in the gif below, I am trying to re-position the button using my mouse but I could not:

    DW still allows for dragging elements within the Design View interface (you appear to be in Live View in your animation). In order to activate that functionality, you just need to have position:absolute added to an element's CSS.

    Only the old AP Element and AP Div menu options were removed from the program, due to absolute positioning being pretty much the opposite of the responsive design necessary for today's internet users.

    @Mubarak2994478067lu,

    OK.  Let's dispel the "drag & drop-with-my-mouse-myth" right now.  That's not web design.  That's graphic design.  Dreamweaver is not a graphic design tool like Photoshop.   It's a CODE editor.

    With that in mind, building responsive web pages requires planning and a structure or framework to hold elements.  When you have a structure to work with, it's simple to place elements inside with basic HTML & CSS code.

    Web designers currently use Bootstrap, CSS Flexbox or CSS Grids to create structure.  See links below for more details.

    Hope that helps.  Post back if you have any questions.

    You can only do that by using an absolutely positioned div. I'm not sure if that option is still available in DW. It used to be and it used to be draggable,  l think.

    However, in general, that's not the way to position elements. You should ideally be using margin on the elements parent container to position the div to where you want it or some other method which centers vertically and horizontally if that is what is required.
