Changing Login and Password

In Dreamweaver (8) at Remote Info under the Advanced tab, is there a way I can change the Login and Password?  I have forgotten what they are and can’t get into update my website.  If I can’t change them, is there a way around this? I haven’t worked on websites for a long time and can’t find where my Login and Password are written down.  I appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks in advance, Rich Reed     [Personal email removed as per forum policy.  This is a public forum.  Please don't post personal info.]

I'm sure nobody here knows what your FTP log-in is either.  That's something only you and your web hosting provider would know.   Contact your web host for the correct server, username & password.  If they reset it, you can change it by going to Site > New Site and creating a new site definition.

I have not used DW8 in ages so I don't have a screenshot from that version.  But the Servers tab should be similar to the one pictured below.

If you are on a Mac, you should be able to open up your keychain and view your passwords there as DW uses the keychain for password storage.  If you are on a Windows, I'm not sure where this is stored.
