Question

Classic ASP shopping Cart

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
I'm looking for a 'comprehensive' shopping cart system written in 'Classic
ASP' and editable in DW8.

It needs to have a fully functioning admin (backend) system and also enable
me to add asp code as and when required.

Bit of a tall order I guess, but my reason for the question is that at
present we're using 'Actinic v8' and it is rather restrictive in both
functions and design ability.

Hope someone can advise.

Thanks in advance

Kind Regards
Andy

Thanks Guys!
Anyone got any thoughts or experience with using 'cartweaver' or 'webb
assist's e-cart'?

Thanks
Andy

Joe Scavattio's UltraCart ll - been using it for years for various
integrations and it does what it says on the packet.

I believe Jules has the Charon Cart as well - although I haven't tried
his offering.

I don't think StoreFront has a classic ASP version any more - aren't
they strictly a .NET shop now?

Have a look at http://www.vp-asp.com/ as well. Not quite as easy to
customize for design as some of the others, but fully functioning
right out of the box. There's even a free version you can download to
see if it'll work for you.

LaGarde StoreFront used to be one of the more full-featured solutions that
was easily editable with Dreamweaver a few years ago, but I don't hear much
from them any more:

http://www.storefront.net/

There are a number of other solutions that plug into Dreamweaver and provide
you with a lot of flexibility when designing your own, but have a number of
templated ideas to make your design life a little easier. A couple of these
are WebAssist eCart, CartWeaver, and others. A quick Google search on "asp
shopping cart" yeilds plenty of results. However, if you want to isolate
your choices to Dreamweaver-only solutions, I'd first check the Exchange for
some options:
