Question

Clicking on the document tab's X is not closing the document/

When I try to close an open document by clicking on the document tab's X, it does not close? I can close doing file > close, but that is not what I want. Can anyone help? Thanks

    Hi Nancy, Good morning. I am using Adobe Dreamweaver version 21.1. Adobe Creative Cloud states I am up to date. I am using Windows 10 home version as my operating system. I have tried restarting my system. I am just not sure why I am having the issue.

    Try restoring preferences.

    Failing that, use the Adobe Cleaner tool to remove old app followed by a reinstall of DW.

    Which version of DW?

    Which operating system?

    Did you try restarting your computer yet?
