Every link I insert, by pasting the link or finding a file on the computer, ends up having ?client appended to the link. Has anyone seen this?

From which application(s) are you copying and pasting hypertext links?

Which file type are you working with in DW?

What happens when you use the DW interface to insert a link from your Properties panel?    See screenshot from latest CC 2019 version.  I don't have legacy CS6 anymore.

This is not normal... can you provide a screenshot or video showing your DW interface, and let us know what version you're working with?

Hope this helps! Make sure to press "✔ Correct Answer" on this post if this answers your question. Happy Creating!Anissa • @anissat

This is a sample of the code, I edited my employer's domain to hide the actual file and made the DW-added part bold. I have just rebooted the laptop (MacBook Pro 2017), so it's not a glitch caused by some random behavior. It's DW CS6 v12, build 5808. I tried DW CC, it doesn't seem to be doing it, so that seems to indicate a DW CS6 issue. As it started to do it 2 days ago, something may have got corrupted. It doesn't break the link, which still works as expected.

Have you validated code with the online W3C service?

The W3C Markup Validation Service

Does this occur in all sites & files or just certain ones?
