Computer : Mac OS 13.6.9

Dreamweaver version: 21.4

set up and manage a site I use the Site > New Site, or Site > Manage Sites dialogs but when I save the computer freeze entirely and the wheel keeps spinning.

Also upon uploading and downloading files to the external server via FTP it has the same  problem.

How to fix this?

Make sure your computer exceeds minimum requirements to run Creative Cloud Desktop App and all other apps you're using.

Restore Dreamweaver Preferences

Update Creative Cloud Desktop App.

1. Open CC Desktop App.
2. Click your Avatar (top right image) > Preferences > General tab > Settings. Select "Always keep Creative Cloud up to date."
3. Click on your Avatar again.
4. Sign-out of Creative Cloud.
5. Close all apps.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Open CC Desktop app.
8. Click your Avatar.
9. Sign-in with your paid Creative Cloud ID and password.

There was a freezing issue but that was known to affect 14.0 to 14.3. The latest version for Mac OS 13 is 13.7. Can you try updating and see the issue resolves?

Do you have full read/write permissions for that folder on your macOS hard drive?

Dreamweaver works best when your local site folder resides on the primary drive; not cloud or networked drives.

Yes I have full permissions for that folder, Dreamworks is on my local primary hard drive.
