I know there is discussion abt moving DW config, but my problem is the configs are not located in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Configuration   as adobe says it should be. Mine are located in:

C:\Program Files\Adobe

Is this ok? I am the only user & everything is working, I am just trying to back up snippets and other configs...

Windows 32 Location

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\configuration

Windows (64 bit) Location

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\configuration

You might want to remove Dreamweaver (be sure to Help & click Deactivate) & completely reinstall it.!!!!!

C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Configuration

This is your personal configuration file and to 'see' it you must enable 'show hidden files/folders' on windows.

C:\Program Files\Adobe

This is the actual programs configuration file and should never be altered.
