If you want to keep the workflow inhouse and not out source it to a third party solution then first determined if your hosting provider allows you to use the default php mail function as this is easier to set up. You may find your host only allows mail to be sent via smtp which would require you to use a solution like phpMailer, more difficult to set up.

If all you need is a contact form there are plenty of form options available.  Many web hosts offer scripts that you can install and setup easily on your site.  But if you prefer not to get into the code at all, you can look to solutions like typeform ( https://www.typeform.com ), wufoo ( https://www.wufoo.com ), or marketing solutions like hubspot ( https://www.hubspot.com ) as a solution to simply embed on your site or have hosted with them.
