Copy & Paste Bug

Thi is a new issue and Im not even sure why its happening all of a sudden but design view has removed the option to paste text into the page. I can still paste using code view. I would use code view, but I'm translating a site so need to keep all original links in tact. How do I get design view to work again?

I cleared my settings using CMD+ALT+Shift on start up...so this is most def not the fix.

As a side note - Is there anyway to purchase a previous version of DW? The 2017 copy is such a time killer that I hardly ever use my Mac anymore. So slow and so buggy...

I'm able to copy & paste in all views. Although as Jon said, you must double click in the box to paste in Live view. Also check your code for errors. DW doesn't respond as well when errors are present.

Are you sure you're in Design View and not Live View by accident?

The (relatively) new Live View Editor doesn't allow pasting of text unless you double-click the area you want to add text to.

As a CC subscriber, you have access to all CC versions of DW back to CS6 Cloud and can have all of them installed on the same machines at the same time, they just won't run at the same time. You can get them through the CC Desktop App...
