Beware of fake Adobe reps who may contact you privately offering to sell you software or take control of your computer. It's a scam, run away! Real Adobe employees will never reach out via Outlook, Yahoo, Gmail or Skype.

No-can-do.  You need a special Windows license but Adobe no longer issues them for discontinued software.  CS6 is too old.

Option 1: Get modern Dreamweaver CC by subscription.  It works on Windows/Mac or both.

Option 2:  Use another code editor that will work with Windows.

CS6 is no longer sold or supported by Adobe. You used to be able to request a one time language swap for the program, from Mac/Win or Win/Mac, but they no longer offer that service.

If you get a CC subscription, you can install DW on either or both system types.

The customer service rep should have been able to tell you that without passing you off to the forum.
