CS6 Adobe extension manager not working

Using Dreamweaver CS6 I find that the adobe extension manager does not work..

The manager opens but reports

"This extension can not be installed, it requires Dreamweaver version 9 or greater"

I understand that CS6 is version 12.

Can anyone advise what I need to do to get this working please?

Thank you

John Hardy

Every time I see a question like this, it makes my blood boil to think that Adobe in general and the Dreamweaver team in particular treat us this way. They (Adobe) have removed the functionality of the Extension Manager in favour of some inferior alternative. It has taken two of the best extension providers to come to the rescue.

Download either of these two Extension Managers and your life will return to normal

Thank you BenPleysier for you information.

I tried using the dmxzone extension manager but found it only connected to dmxzone extensions. I wish to install webassist extensions.

Can you explain what the inferior alternative is. It may have to do me!

I use the DMXZone Extension Manager to also install my WebAssist extensions, no problem. The other way is to go to Creative Cloud
