CS6 cannot see html code in split view

Hello

I am using Dreamweaver CS6.

I am having problems changing from html to styles view and the html and css buttons in the Properties will not work.

Sometimes if the styles code is on display in the code view then I cannot not change to HTML View and vice versa

I have looked at  window/workspace/ layout/designer and have reset designer, the Properties boxes select but do not change the view.

Anyone has any ideas how I can rectify this please?

Many thanks

John

I'm not completely sure I understand what you're doing/what's going wrong...

Are you talking about two separate issues: (1) where your related files bar in the top of your document isn't changing your Code View when you click your css file name or "Source" and (2) the CSS and HTML buttons in the Properties panel aren't modifying the panel options when clicked?

Or, are you trying to use the CSS and HTML buttons down in the Properties window to change your Code View between your css and html source code?

    Thanks for the replies.

    Yes to this one:

Or, are you trying to use the CSS and HTML buttons down in the Properties window to change your Code View between your css and html source code?

However your helpful comments caused me to click on the various files showing on the top bar and these seem to work fine.I should have tried that hours ago. Seems like the answer!

Out of interest should the CSS and HTML buttons down in the Properties work in a similar fashion.

    My thanks again

Nope, those buttons are just for switching between the available option sets within the Properties window itself.
