CSS and Real Time preview

So when editing HTML, real time preview is fine, however when i click into the CSS document, Real Time preview tries to load that and since it cant, displays the error message. Is there a way to be editing the CSS document with Real time preview still showing the html file that i was working on?

Cheers

Alex

I have to confess no great love for Real Time Preview.  It doesn't play nice with my local testing server.  I prefer to use right-click, Open in Browser.

When I make changes to a file -- HTML, CSS, JS or PHP & save, I can switch back to my browser and hit Refresh to see those changes.

Optionally, if I want to change some CSS code in real time, I use my browser's Inspect Element feature.

personnaly since long time I use Node to directly real time preview what ever I'm working on... it's open, it's reactive, works like a charm, on any platform connected, and easy to handle

I kind of agree with you on this one. Its become another 'modern' or is it lazy workfow (l cant decide these days) where it seems to have become all too much of an effort to use ones finger.

Although l use it sometimes, not in DW, its not essential and doesnt save an enormous amount of time so to me personally if it works then great if it dont then do it manually and stop being so lethargic and lazy. If youre at the point where you cant be bothered to refresh the brower what else cant you be bothered to do, which is probably having an impact on your skill level
