Question

CSS rules not read in Dreamweaver

Hi there,

I'm having a problem where I'm creating dynamic content, and seemingly randomly, Dreamweaver "loses connection" with the css in the linked file. I still show the linked file in the CSS Styles tab, but the rules are not there. However, when I double click that CSS file, it opens the external CSS file, and all the rules are there.

I have not figured out any connection to when it happens. It seems rather random. The only way I can fix it is by restarting Dreamweaver. This lets me know it's not really related to what's in the code, and makes me think it's some kind of a bug.

If anyone has a workaround or fix, it would be great. It really makes it hard to work in Design View, once it loses the CSS.

If this were a bug, I'm sure one of us would have experienced it. I have
not seen of anyone doing so.

How can we help you?
