Database connection problem

Hello everyone,

I have encountered a strange problem while connecting to my mySQL database. I've just recently upgraded to CS4 and now on my existing site, all of the database connections will not show any tables and when I run the test in order to connect to it, a popup window displays "unidentified error has occured".

When trying to pull data from tables using the dreamweaver interface, it shows the name of the connection but no tables are available. It simply says "None" under tables.

I use navicat to manage my database and the connection and tables are all fine.

Is there something that happened after installing CS4 that would cause this? Do any of you happen to know a quick fix for this? I'm not the best at this development stuff. More of a designer so if you have a solution, keep that in mind

Thank you!

Cory

Site - advanced - Remove connection scripts.  You may also have to delete and re-define the connection.

I don't know if this will work, but it was part of the fix when DW 8 was doing this.
