Device preview in browser very slow and no css

Hi,

I know it has been discusse many times, but not recently. Dreamweaver CC 2019 latest version. Core-i7 5730k, 32GB RAM, GTX980.

So I am trying to get some help:

When I start the preview in browser from bottom right, it takes about 5 minutes to load the page and it does not show css, only the html.

....Waiting for 127.0.0.0

Is there a solution for this ?

I have moved the files to an SSD, I have reinstalled and deleted the preferences folder in %appdata% and so on, but no luck.

Try edit > preferences >  real-time preview - check 'default to static preview'

Does thaf fix your problem?

If it does, but you would still like a live update in the browser as you work/save try Live Reload along with the relevant browser add-on. I use it with the Firefox add-on and find it works perfectly. Its easy to set up ...

    Hi, thank you for your answer.

    It loads still slow, about 30 sec., but at least it loads incl. all files.

    Since I am on Windows LiveReload does not work it is still in Alpha state.

    Hi I just want to mention, that the problem was faults in the code in one line there was ' instead of ", this prevented the live preview to load correctly.
