The masters of UX and UI and all that stuff... let's make all easier... yes!, change the color of the icons people have in their daily routine, that will make them tink on us!

Why? Why adobe people? Why?

It's a branding decision.  That's what branding divisions do.  They change logos to see if anyone notices the change.  I guess it worked 🙂

Here's some desktop icons (Dreamweaver and Fireworks) in the new style but original colours.

Dreamweaver must be green. Who made this decision of changing this color?? lol

I'm also used to it since the Macromedia days... Why change now 😞

This is all part of a global branding change that effected ALL product logos, not just Dreamweaver.

Purple, green, orange or brown.  What difference does it really make?  None.

That is exactly my point, what difference does it make, just leave it green.

Rounded corners denote mobile apps, according to an Adobe staffer.

Purple is good, looks more welcoming and friendly.
