I trust that I am now in the correct Adobe dreamweaver cc 2017 forum.

I am having issues with my Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017 app.

I have made changes to the website and I am seeing all the changes that I made. However Different Computers and Different Browsers are not Showing the changes that I made.

why is that?

should it matter what computer or web Browsers clients access the website from?

my employer has a Mac and he is not seeing the changes that I made.

my employers secretary has a Windows computer and if she access the website via Firefox she is not seeing the Changes.  When she accessed the website via Internet Explorer she is seeing the changes that I made.

I hope I am in the correct forum. I am new like I mentioned so it is not on purpose.

please help me I am confused.

please provide advice.

kind Regards,

Cordelia Gilbert

    HTML = content

    CSS = styles

    On the web, content is kept separate from styles for greater efficiency and easier site management.   The font attributes should never appear in your HTML code.  They belong in your CSS.  The only exception to that is if you're creating an HTML Email.  Is that what you're doing?

    Ctrl+R will refresh most browsers except for stubborn ones like Chrome.

    I see no map on either page in any browser.

    Here's how to clear browser cache for each browser...

    IE - F12 > Ctrl + R > Yes

    Firefox - Ctrl + Shift + R

    Chrome - F12 > Right Click the Reload button > Choose Empty Cache and Hard Reload

    Safari - Develop > Disable Caches > Ctrl + R

    Opera - Opera > More Tools > Clear Browsing Data > Uncheck all but Empty the cache > Clear Browsing Data

    There are a few reasons for that kind of thing.

    1. The cache in a given browser is sticking and needs to be cleared to show you the most current online version

    2. Errors in your image paths. If you have images starting with "file:"they would only be visible from the computer that made the site.
    3. Other code errors. All browsers are not created equal, when it comes to what they do when they run into html errors. Some will happily plug along, accurately guessing what you meant to do and showing you what you wanted to see. Others will basically "guess wrong" and show you a broken page.

    What you've explained sounds like a caching issue.

    Could you post a link to your page with an explanation of what we're supposed to see? Maybe a code issue is causing the problem.
