Display current date in Dreamweaver

I'm trying to have a current day and date display in Dreamweaver. I followed the guides on this page:

but it only displays the date I created it. I've checked automatically update on save, but still doesn't work.

Have a look at

Current date comes from the server it's hosted on.

If your server supports PHP scripts, this displays Today's Date in this format.

Save your file with .php extension.
