Do you want to save the changes? Every second?

I am working on a project with local server, and every time during the editing, in code view, I add a word, I change a letter, I correct a link, whatever text editing I do in the code view, the DW is alerting me everytime “Do you want to save the changes?” and I have to always click on OK or Cancel, otherwise I can not continue.

 

That alert is really annoying. Is there a way, under Preferences maybe, to DISABLE this alert, or alert me only if I am going to close the application, or there is not auto-saving option in DW? Thanks a lot for your patience.

    There's no way to disable this particularly annoying "feature" when working with PHP files in Live View. That's how the program is now designed to function.

    Switching to Design View, as Ben mentions, will stop it though. You can do that in the Document Toolbar (Window > Toolbar > Document > click the dropdown arrow next to Live and switch it to Design) or by going to View > View Mode > Design.

    Cmd + Shift + F11 (enable function keys).
