Does DW 2017.5 Install GIT if it is not already installed?

I have a machine that is controlled by IT, and allows DW install/updates.  It currently does not have GIT installed.  When I upgrade to 2017.5 will DW 2017.5 install GIT?  Trying to get GIT installed has been an issue, but it will solve everything if upgrading to 2017.5 installs GIT as part of the update.

To answer this particular question, No GIT doesn't get install with DW 2017.5 upgrade.
