Downgrade of dreamweaver version

In the past, I used Dreamweaver version 5.5 CS, with numerous extensions that do not work in version 21.4, which I currently use. Would it be possible to purchase version 5.5 CS directly from Adobe or through another channel?

What are you trying to do that you can't do with modern tools?

    Be specific.

Perhaps we can direct you to current solutions that will work better. 🙂

Some of old projects that I did I have to re-visit sometimes...  and I see now that I´ll have to make an update to HTML5 and many other features... I´m just looking for my alternatives...
Wappler seems to be the best decision now...

    No.  CS5 hasn't been sold since 2017.

Keep in mind that outdated software & extensions from 10-15 years ago are not in step with current web practices. They'll hurt you more than help you. Also, the companies that previously made extensions for DW don't exist anymore. Or if they do, they've stopped making extensions for DW.  😞

Still plenty of current, extensions available from DMXZone.

Edit: Oops. no Bootstrap 5?? Please disregard this post.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

If you look closely, DMX Zone's extensions for DW have been static since approx 2018.

Wappler is their main focus now.

This may be an idea... but be sure anyway to check the code generated by these extensions, which are 10 to 15 years old... especially if you're using SB.

In any case, you can find older versions on the ProDesign website... https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html make sure the requirements are compatible https://prodesigntools.com/products/adobe-cs5-system-requirements.html and then look for a good virtual machine to launch the most suitable OS.

I have to admit that here, at the studio, we still sometimes use .exe files generated by Director 8 running on old MACs and Windows... we're somehow just too lazy to port routines that still work and do the job on new environments.
