download link button press counter

Hello,

I am new in .html, .php or .css

I built my site in DreamWeaver back in 2014

-but have forgotten what I learnt then,

so if you could be patient with my newness, maybe I can actually do this

I have a new download link provider, Google Drive

when the link or d/l button is clicked-

I would like to iterate a visible counter?

- I want to visibly count downloads

If anyone can help me with a script, I will do my best to get it working.

I think I will build in the latest DreamWeaver
