New layout navigation is not very kwel!

How do I drag and drop a hyperlink to an internal document to be downloaded?

I am still looking for the quick easy way.

I can hard code it... BUT THAT IS NOT THE PURPOSE of the the fast drag and drop the arrow here item which I can no longer find.

Correct answer B i r n o u

if you refer to the pick quick target dragged from the properties inspector, it only works on code and display view... not in live view...

from live view you have to use the HUB (link icon)

if that is not your point, please as said Jon, explain better what differ ?

Go to Insert > Hyperlink.  Browse to document in local site.  Hit OK.

I don't understand the question. Could you explain your old workflow, what you expect to see, and how that differs from what you're seeing now?

There have been a lot of changes to DW over the years, knowing what version you were using may also help contributors piece together an answer for you.
