I am trying to activate this product on a new PC, i do have the serial number but it fails when trying to activate the product over the internet and when i try the phone numbers displayed they are no longer valid.
Help please.

Forget about using your serial number to activate MX 2004. It won't work. The software is very old and outdated and the MX 2004 activation server was shut down years ago.
Enter the serial number found at the following link to license MX 2004 on your computer.
