Dreamweaver 20.0 Crashing with no Error

Hi all,

For some reason whenever I open up Dreamweaver it instantly crashes after about 45 seconds with no error. If I have typed anything, then it asks me if I would like to save my progress and then closes. Yesterday it was working fine, but today it has this issue. Also, my trial ended yesterday, but I have purchased it today. I dont know if that has anything to do with it.

Nancy,

Unfortunately this didnt work for me. It still closes after 45 seconds. I have reinstalled it already as well.

  1. Which operating system do you have?
  2. Are you an administrative level user?
  3. Did you run the Adobe CC Cleaner tool before reinstalling?
    https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
  4. Does this crash happen with all files in all defined sites or just certain ones?
  5. Can you boot up your computer in Safe Mode and try launching DW?

As a test, copy & paste this code into a new, blank document in Code/Design view and save it to your primary hard drive.
