Dreamweaver 2004 'freezes' when opening HTML created in Adestra

I know my software is old, but it's been my loyal friend for over 10 years.  Most problems I've been able to solve, however I've been sent a file that was created in Adestra then exported.  When I try opening the file in my Dreamweaver the software 'freezes' and I need to force it to close.

Apparently Adestra have introduced some new templates and I suspect this is the issue.  However, if anyone is able to guide me through successfully opening these files that would be amazing!

Thanks!

Here is a link to Brackets.  It's free.

Brackets - A modern, open source code editor that understands web design.

Thanks so much for getting back to me.  My HTML skills are painfully limited. So it looks like I'm going to have to learn new 'stuff'.  Really appreciate your help.

Using legacy software that doesn't understand modern code is an invitation for problems.

Try opening the files in a modern code editor like Brackets.

That said, I'de be interested in seeing the code.  You can upload it to a remote server you control or just copy & paste it into a web forum reply.
