Dreamweaver 2015 Classic Theme for Dreamweaver 2021

Hello to all members of the community!

 

Heraclitus (Heraclitus of Ephesus, ancient greek philosopher) once said, 'The only constant in life is change.' So, if you can't find a way, create one yourself..

 

That's what i did because i hated all the code coloring themes of the latest versions of Dreamweaver (2017+).

 

I finally created the *almost* perfect code coloring theme having the same colors as the classic theme of Dreamweaver 2015.

 

I hope you all appreciate my work. I still would like Adobe to address this and create a proper one including it in the next updates in the future.

Don't forget to activate the theme after your install it in the DW 2021 settings.

    Hello, the link https://www.codelab.gr/dw2015.rar and I find more than necesary this kind of effort and donwload your file because the 2021 DW has awful code coloring.

    I used the RubyBlue, "Brackets Code Color Theme" from Github. There are 43 themes to choose from (light, dark & high contrast).

    Download the CSS/LESS file, add it to your Code Theme Preferences (+ icon).  Edit to suit (pencil icon).  Save changes and hit the Apply button.   See screenshot. 

     

     

    You may need to Restart Dreamweaver.

    That's all there is to it.

    PS: I have made another version having html tags such as table, script, style, label, option, select, etc. with a different colors matching exactly the Dreamweaver 2015 classic theme colors but some problems have risen. So i posted this version instead. I will try to make a perfect HTML code coloring in the next version.. for now PHP, CSS, JS code coloring is 100% completed. HTML is still about 80% same.
