Dreamweaver 2017? Didn't like it, sorry! Reverted back to Dreamweaver 2015

EDIT >> PREFERENCES >> LINTING ????? Why in heaven I can't have the EDIT option on Dreamweaver 2017? Please let people choose what they want to do with their code/programming according to their use/work.

Among many other things, this is why I reverted back to 2015.

As soon as you put the EDIT option again, please let me know and I will gladly install Dreamweaver 2017!!!

Thanks, but NO thanks!

Not sure what you mean, I see a checkbox that (dis)allows Linting and I see an option to Edit Linting rules. What other option are you referring to?

Apparently you have many issues with 2017. Have you made these known to the people that matter? Go to the Help menu and report your issues.

As a user-to-user forum, there is little that we can put back again. Very little to discuss, sorry.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

Thanks for your answer Ben. My Dreamweaver 2017 doesn't have the Edit option inside Linting rules. I just have the option to allow or disallow. Dreamweaver 2015 does have this Edit option.

I will follow your advise and I will report the issue. Thanks very much!!

If your window under Edit > Preferences > Linting doesn't look like this in CC2017, I would bet you had a corrupt installation.

The edit functions are still there...
