Dreamweaver 2020 Freezes after selecting index file

Anyone else finding Dreamweaver freezes after loading the main screen and clicking on a htlm file to open? Also tried an earlier version of DW and it did the same.

    Is this widespread, does it happen with all sites and all files or just certain ones?

     

    If not widespread, does the file in question contain valid, error-free code?
