Dreamweaver 6 startet nicht mehr

Rechner: Asus GL 752 VW - 16 GB Ram - Windows 10, 64 Bit

Dreamweaver 6  - nicht CC! -startet plötzlich nicht mehr. Es kommt eine Fehlermeldung

"Die Ausführung des Codes kann nicht fortgesetzt werden, da MSVCP100.dll nicht gefunden wurde. Durch eine Neuinstallation des Programms kann das Problem möglicherweise behoben werden."

Eine Neuinstallation bringt leider keine Änderung, die Meldung erscheint weiterhin, DW 6 startet nicht. Aber auch Adobe Lightroom 6.1 stürzt nach dem Start ab, allerdings ohne jede Fehlermeldung.

Alle anderen Installationen auf dem Rechner - z.B. Photoshop Elements 14 - laufen genauso problemlos wie die Standard Office Programme oder auch DeLorme Topo, Firefox oder Thunderbird.

Wo liegt das Problem?

    If that is true for a five year old product that seems to be a bad joke and I will cancel all my Adobe products. Seems to be something like attemted extortion.

    I'm in high dudgeon. In the past I always was an Adobe advocat. May have been a bad idea..


    I understand your frustration, and I am sorry that you feel that way. Dreamweaver CS6 is now several years old, and support for it was withdrawn a few months ago. I was only stating the reason for which you were redirected to the forums. We are trying our best to help while you are here.

    Several improvements to Dreamweaver since CS6 including feature updates and bug fixes. If you are up for it, I urge you to download a trial version  of Dreamweaver CC and check its behavior on your computer. It would give us an idea about whether the issue is with the software or with the computer's configuration.

    It was nice of you to Google for the OP and post your search results. Unfortunately, your search result is a solution posted for CC and OP specifically stated that they were using DW6, NOT CC. Try searching Google again for the OP?

    Thank you for pointing that out. Normally the solutions from Adobe cover most versions of Dreamweaver. Apparently not in this case.

    Normally, the content of reply #1 would be the correct answer, apparently not in this case.

    Perhaps you could be of more assistance to the OP.

    Did as recommended, installed ms visual c++ again.

    Nevertheless nothing changed, both Adobe programs are still not usable. DW 6 still comes up with the error message mentioned in the first posting, LR 6 crashes after opening.

    A system restart did not help.
